Imran Faizyab Jatoi is a Pakistani self-employed visual artist, creating 2d and 3d art forms and performances. His practice underlines queer ideologies with an emphasis on identity, orientation, faith and autobiographical allusions. He is postgraduate in Art & Design from Yasar University, Turkey and contributed to number of exhibitions. The involvement of his art practice is to educate and make awareness about queer issues and recently he has displayed his work with unchanged perspectives in, “Buddies in Bad Times Theater, QueerCab”, Toronto, Canada, 2021 and “Margins Magazine”, UTSC Women’s and Trans Centre, Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, 2021. Imran is also one of the International Visual Artist exhibited his series of 2d artworks in the 60th Anniversary of Toronto Outdoor Art Fair, July 2-11, 2021.

His exploration in ideologies of gender such as queer identity and sexuality carries the contemporary language of visual arts and intimacy of queer spaces and atmosphere. Throughout its multiplicities, his work reflects the condition of queer-personification, questioning the intersections of identity, sexuality and body inhabitation.

His creative practice bases on an investigation of Identity, especially gender and sexuality, through multidisciplinary approaches. Drawing from his experience as a peculiar individual, his work is motivated by an existential need to comprehend and articulate his thoughts and to associate with others. He will likely make work that works with closeness and empowers understanding, accepting, and basic discussions about identity and contemporary societal movement. As he seek after these points, he persistently explore living unaffectedly and how visual portrayal, especially drawing, creative mind and past awful experiences assumes an incredible part in that art process.
